With 30 years of experience under my belt some would say that I’m an “old-timer” but with experience comes wisdom! In our work together, I pull from a breadth and depth of expertise to help you find the path you’ve been looking for.
My goal is to build a compassionate connection with you right away so that you feel comfortable in our working relationship “out of the gate”.
If you are a young adult or older adult, we’ll collaborate to create a plan for you to reach your counseling goals.
With my teen and youth clients, I’ll empower them to take small steps that create big change and lead them to lifelong success.
I tend to be a natural “problem solver” so our work together will include useful strategies, practical tools and clear steps to move you forward on your journey.
I’ve utilized many traditional counseling methods (CBT, DBT, etc.) and I’ve also worked with “trauma informed therapies” for children, youth, and their families - biological, foster, and adoptive.
I have had the honor to work in diverse communities across the United States which has given me a unique range of cultural experiences and sensitivities that I use every day in my work with clients.
When I’m not in the therapy office, I love being outdoors, spending quality time with my family, a good movie and reading the latest popular book.
