Landon Cotton, LPC

Anyone who has ever experienced a challenging life event knows how scary it can be to talk to someone about it. Healing from these experiences is a process. If you're reading this, then you are already taking one of the most challenging steps in this process: reaching out.

I am an LGBTQ-affirming licensed counselor and my primary background is in working with youth, adolescents, and young adults. I specialize in working with "lost ones" or individuals who are dealing with feeling disconnected, anxious, depressed, relationship issues, sexuality, lack of motivation, or just feeling "stuck.”

My approach is I will always see you as a unique individual and we will approach your therapy needs with compassion. You are not a “problem” to be solved, and my role is not to “fix” you. In our work together, my primary goal is to provide you with a safe space to talk, challenge negative thoughts and emotions, and develop effective ways to cope through any challenge.

Whether you or your loved one are struggling with depression, anxiety, a difficult life transition, a challenging relationship, or just figuring out what direction you want to go, you are in the right place. I will do my best to create a safe space for you to feel heard, empowered, and positively challenged in your unique journey to reach your personal goals. I believe in the healing that can take place within a positive counseling relationship, and will always strive to build this with each individual I have the opportunity to work with.
