Hi, I am so grateful you are here! You deserve a space to heal and grow. I will truly listen, to genuinely witness your experiences and support you in the tough times (and the triumphs) along the way.
It takes strength and determination to make yourself a priority when so many demands compete for your energy. YOU matter and you’ve come to the right place to find your true self in the midst of struggle.
In our work together, you will experience me as authentic, creative and collaborative- we’re in this together! I am passionate about self-empowerment, self-care, and authentic identity development.
I have experience supporting adults and adolescents coping with life changes, depression, anxiety, and medical and emotional/psychological trauma. I also work with eating concerns, and approach this from a Health at Every Size (HAES)-informed and body liberation perspective.
My therapeutic specialties include both talk therapy and art therapies. Art skills are not required to benefit from art-making! Art-in-counseling is simply a creative exploration…we get to communicate without the limitations of “words”. Visual representations of life are the essence of your lived experience. Art brings you a voice that you might not know you had. Creating art gives you “space” from difficult emotions so you feel safe in the therapeutic process.
Clients often describe me as deeply compassionate, inclusive, affirming and strength-focused. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming, fat positive, sex positive, culturally integrative & spiritually explorative. My approach incorporates person-centered, trauma-informed, mindfulness, and relational-cultural principles.
You lead the way and I’ll be here to support you as you discover your “true self” and find healing and wellness.
