Relaxing for me is all about getting lost in a fiction book or my latest song obsession.
I get way too excited about frozen yogurt, ceramics, and seeing my favorite bands play live.
Self-care for me is finding opportunities to laugh, like watching stand up comedy, and engaging in activities that channel my inner child, like riding my bike or roller skating.
I love learning about the neuroscience of trauma and resilience and all the ways humans can heal.
I’m a total nerd about the band Snarky Puppy, olympic weightlifting technique and steaming milk (former barista here!)
