I work great with...
- Clients who are looking to find balance in their bodies through their relationship with food and/ or exercise.
- Young adults who are looking to explore themselves in a safe and compassionate space.
- Someone who needs support in moving through life transitions and the challenges that come along with them.
- People who struggle with body image and self-esteem issues after weight changes.
- Someone who feels stuck a never-ending cycle of dieting and wants to break the pattern in a sustainable way.
Style & Approach
My approach in facilitating change, wellness, and personal growth includes using a humanistic lens in therapy. I believe that the client knows best what they are ready to do, and come to therapy with the desire for change, as well as the skills necessary for personal growth - even if they are currently not accessible. I’m known for providing a safe and non-judgmental environment that helps clients move forward in the goals they set for themselves. Together, we will work to gain insight, in addition to challenging maladaptive patterns and ways of thinking.
Some of the approaches I Use...
- Strength-based
- Mindfulness
- Person-centered
- Intuitive Eating
- Self-compassion
- Anti-diet approach
- Collaborative goal-setting
- Trauma-informed care
- Solution-focused therapy
- Gentle challenging
