Counseling Group for young men age 12-16
Does your teen struggle with depression, anxiety, anger or isolation?
Have you noticed your teen struggling with communication and spending considerable time on a device?
This group will allow teens to explore connection, nurture identity, and relate to others over real-life experiences. The group leader will offer tools to help manage a multitude of social and emotional challenges.
Despite a world where technology connects us 24/7, authentic human connection is fading.
For young people, a life without technology is prehistoric and the only social connection or sense of belonging comes from technology. In my work with teens, I’ve seen tech reduces desire and ability to connect with others in an authentic way. Tech has also become the only coping skill for the challenges that adolescent boys face as they transition into young men.
This group is aimed at young men aged 12-14 years old and will be starting on March 6th, 2019. Please contact Sam to set up a consultation, assessment and to ask any questions you may have!
