I work great with people...
People shaped by early or ongoing trauma. It is completely understandable if certain aspects of your experience led you to develop ways of being, such as staying alert, shutting down, prioritizing the care of others, or maybe you just feel like there is something wrong with you. We will go slowly and work with your nervous system and the parts of you that have been doing their best to protect you, keeping compassion and curiosity at the heart of it all.
Those who feel anxious, disconnected, or stuck in their head. Maybe your mind never seems to turn off, or your body feels tense even when nothing is wrong. Together we will slow things down and help you feel more grounded and at ease in your day to day life.
Anyone who struggles with self-worth and relationships. If getting close to people feels confusing or unsafe, you are not broken. We can look at where these patterns came from and start building a steadier, kinder connection with yourself and others.
People carrying grief that does not always show on the surface. You might be functioning, working, and showing up while feeling heavy or numb inside. This is a place where your loss can be talked about and tended to without being rushed.
LGBTQ+ folks looking for a space that feels genuinely affirming. It’s a really uncertain and scary time and you do not need to explain or justify who you are here. We will focus on helping you feel more settled in yourself and supported in your relationships.
Those feeling worn down, flat, or quietly depressed. When just getting through the day takes more energy than it should, something needs care. We will pay attention to what your mind and body are asking for and work toward small changes that can bring real relief.
Style & Approach
I believe healing happens in relationships, especially when you finally get to experience what it feels like to be truly safe, seen, and understood with another person. In therapy, my goal is to create a space where your nervous system can slow down and you do not have to be on guard or perform. When your body feels safer, it becomes much easier to make sense of what you are feeling and why.
I also believe that every part of you exists for a reason. Even the parts you wish would quiet down, toughen up, or disappear once helped you survive something hard. Rather than trying to get rid of those parts, we get curious about them and listen to what they are trying to do for you. And we learn to be curious about what those parts are trying to tell you.
My work is about helping your mind and body feel safe enough to explore these patterns together. We take things at your pace, staying grounded in the present while gently updating old survival strategies that may no longer fit your life today. The goal is not to fix you, but to help you feel more whole, steady, and at home in yourself.

Fun Facts
My favorite Austin activity is…: going to see live music! These days, I love an intimate matinee, but I can also rally for a big show at the Moody Center.
I’m a total nerd about: learning the different ways that people overcome difficult things. I am both inspired by and continuously learn from the brilliant ways that people can adapt to nearly any situation.
Relaxing for me is all about: connecting with my people. Whether I’m sharing a meal, an experience, or just going on a long walk, I love spending time with the people I love. It fills my cup like no other.
I get way too excited about: house plants and gardening. Ironically, I don’t have a particularly strong green thumb, but it’s just so fun to plan out my next vegetable garden and see what works. Plus, there is nothing in life quite like a homegrown tomato.
