Insurance  Information

Discovery is In-Network with a few local insurance plans so if you have one of these health plans, you can discuss your coverage options when you inquire about services with this form: Initial Inquiry Form

The purpose of this guide is to help you navigate the insurance process.

In-Network Insurance Coverage

Please keep in mind that Discovery Counseling Austin is only In-Network for Community Health Network (WebTPA, Whole Foods),
United Healthcare (Optum),
BCBS PPO plans (or plans managed by BCBSTX PPO),
Aetna.

As a reminder, any services not covered by your insurance become 100% the responsibility of the client (or the financially responsible party).

Out-of-Network Insurance Coverage

If you have an Out-of-Network plan, we can provide a “superbill” (for our fully-licensed clinicians only) for you to submit to your insurance and get reimbursement on your own. The superbill does not guarantee reimbursement. Associate clinicians & therapists-in-training cannot provide superbills for their services due to health insurance coverage guidelines. For these providers, we can provide a statement of charges that you can use to seek reimbursement if your plan allows.

Know Your Benefits

We recommend that you contact your insurance provider directly to learn more about the benefits for mental health counseling and/or nutrition counseling on your health insurance plan(s). See below for a guide to calling your insurance.

Whether Discovery is In-Network or Out-of-Network, you can use these steps to find out what your coverage would be when you seek services with us.

When you contact the insurance provider, they may need the “practice name.” Both "Discovery Counseling Austin" or "Weber Wellness" should work.

If they ask for a specific provider and you haven’t been scheduled with anyone yet, ask if they can look up your benefits based on the information below. If you run into issues, we will do our best to help. Email us or call 512-607-9360 ext 75 for our billing specialist.
