I work great with...
Highly sensitive people who feel like the world is just too much. If you notice everything—every mood shift, every bright light, every overwhelming sound—you're not broken. You're wired differently, and that comes with real gifts. I'll help you see your sensitivity as a strength while learning how to navigate a world that can feel overwhelming.
People carrying trauma in their bodies. Sometimes our bodies remember what our minds try to forget. If you feel stuck, numb, or like painful memories live in your chest or stomach, we'll work together slowly and safely to help you feel more at home in your own skin.
Parents and families navigating disability or complex medical needs. Your parenting journey looks different, and that can feel isolating. Whether you're dealing with your own grief, fighting for services, or just trying to find other parents who "get it," you deserve support that honors how hard and how beautiful this path can be.
Young adults who feel lost or overwhelmed by life changes. Whether you're graduating, starting a career, or just trying to figure out who you are as an adult, big transitions can feel scary even when they're exciting. We'll explore what matters to you and help you navigate uncertainty with more confidence and less pressure.
Style & Approach
I believe that all of our feelings—even the really hard ones—are important messengers. Instead of trying to push away anxiety, grief, or fear, I'll help you learn to listen to what these emotions are trying to tell you. This doesn't mean staying stuck in pain, but rather learning to be with difficult feelings in a way that actually helps you move through them.
I create a space where you can be completely honest about what's happening inside without judgment. Whether you're feeling numb, overwhelmed, angry, or confused, all of it is welcome here. I believe healing happens when we feel truly seen and understood by another person.
My approach is gentle but real. We'll go at your pace, but we won't avoid the important stuff. I'm here to walk alongside you through whatever feels dark or difficult, and to help you discover the strength and wisdom you've always had inside you.
Some of the approaches I Use...
Person-Centered Therapy
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for individuals
Parts Work (Internal Family Systems)
Narrative Therapy
Trauma-informed, body-aware approaches
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Fun Facts
My favorite animal is cats—I have an orange tabby named Obie who's basically my co-therapist (though he's terrible at note-taking).
I love learning about all the creative ways people heal and grow. I'm also fascinated by how our brains and bodies work together, especially when it comes to trauma and attachment.
The best Saturday afternoon includes another cup of coffee, time with friends, a good walk, and conversations that actually matter.
One of my favorite quotes: "In this terrifying world you continuously have the power to offer someone a little relief. Why would you withhold that? Do you remember what a little relief feels like? It feels like a lot."
Self-care for me is writing for fun, reading good books, spending time with friends, and hanging out with Obie.

Professional background
Direct Care Experience: Worked in residential care for children with severe mental health needs, provided independent caregiving for medically-complex children, and supported adults with schizophrenia, psychiatric diagnoses, and traumatic brain injuries in assisted living.
Community Support: Spent summers as a counselor at camps for children with disabilities, volunteered with a nonprofit supporting unhoused and low-income individuals, and completed 100+ hours of training as a sexual assault advocate for local hospitals.
Research & Advocacy: Co-created a research study on emotional labor and mental health among nurses during COVID-19, giving me deep insight into how stress and trauma affect caregivers.
