I work great with...

  • People facing big life changes. Whether it's a move, a breakup, a new job—or even just the sense that things should feel different by now—change can stir up a lot. Together, we'll slow things down and figure out what you need to feel grounded while the dust settles.

  • Anyone still feeling the weight of their childhood. You might find yourself reacting in ways you don't fully understand, or feeling stuck in patterns that don't serve you. We'll gently untangle those early experiences and help you feel more at home in your own life today.

  • People healing from an eating disorder. Recovery isn't just about food—it's about reclaiming your voice, your needs, and your relationship with your body. We'll move at your pace, with a focus on compassion, curiosity, and building trust with yourself again.

  • Anyone burned out and running on empty. If you're exhausted all the time but still feel like you should be doing more, you're not alone. We'll work on reconnecting with your needs, setting boundaries that actually stick, and creating space to breathe again.

  • People carrying shame. That heavy, quiet feeling that tells you you're not good enough, or that something's wrong with you—it can be isolating. In our work, you'll have space to speak your truth without judgment, and begin to see yourself through a much kinder lens.

  • Anyone recovering from sexual assault. It's okay if you don't have the words yet, or if talking about it feels too big. I'll meet you wherever you are—with gentleness, patience, and the unwavering belief that healing is possible, and you don't have to do it alone.

Style & Approach

Healing begins the moment we stop believing that our pain makes us "too much" or "not enough." Shame tells us to hide, to shrink, to stay silent—but real healing happens when we let ourselves be seen, just as we are. When we loosen shame's grip, we make room for self-compassion, connection, and the truth that we were never broken to begin with.

In our work together, you don't have to perform, pretend, or have it all figured out. I show up as a real person—compassionate, curious, and honest—and I invite you to do the same. This is a space where all parts of you are welcome, even the messy or unsure ones, and where growth comes not from fixing yourself, but from getting to know yourself more deeply and truthfully.

My approach draws from my belief that we all have an innate wisdom about what we need to heal—sometimes we just need a safe, caring space to rediscover it. I've always wanted to be a therapist, inspired by Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle's caring, curious, and accepting approach. That's still how I work today: with genuine interest in your story and unwavering belief in your capacity for growth and healing.

Some of the approaches I Use...

  • Person-Centered Therapy

  • Sandtray Therapy (70+ hours of specialized training)

  • Neuroaffective Relational Model

  • Mindfulness-Based Therapy

  • Narrative Therapy

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

  • Psychodynamic Therapy

Fun Facts

I can't start my day without a good hurkle-durkle. That's the Scottish term for lounging in bed before getting up. It's my time to drink my coffee, snuggle my cat, and read a few more pages before starting work.

Self-care for me is doing something today that tomorrow me will appreciate.

Relaxing for me is all about building and maintaining my support system by spending time with my family and friends.

My favorite Austin activities are kayaking on Lady Bird Lake and listening to live music.

I get way too excited about books, especially audiobooks. I love romantasy, contemporary, thrillers, memoirs, mysteries, and young adult dystopian fiction. I read or listen to at least 15 books a month!
